An exclusive pre-sale for American Express ® Card-members will begin at 10 am on September 12 through September 18. Ticket prices start at $45 and will be available on-line atstgpresents.org and tickets.com. The West Coast Premiere of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is now playing a strictly limited 12-week engagement through November 25, 2012 at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Broadway In Chicago and the producers of the new musical THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards® including Best Musical, announced today the addition of more seats for THE BOOK OF MORMON at the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe). Individual tickets for added weeks go on-sale Friday, Sep. 21, 2012 at 10 a.m., for performances through June 2, 2013.

The National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, will play in Atlanta as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2013-2014 season.

A beautiful benefit concert called "In Full Bloom" was staged at Birdland on Monday night - created by Ryan Murray and starring incredible Broadway types like Clarke Thorell, Destan Owens, Nikki M. James, Aaron Lazaar, Nick Adams, and Ramona Keller. Joel Waggoner was musical director. The event raised money for The Wishing Kids Foundation, an organization that provides support for people with terminal illnesses. Obviously, with that cast, the singing was gorgeous and heartfelt, the stories were touching, and the crowd was thrilled to meet and hear some of their favorite performers.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has announced a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which launches August 14 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver and plays a limited engagement through September 2. In Denver, the production will make 24 tickets available for all performances at $25 apiece.

Featuring performances by Tony Award Winner Daisy Eagan (Broadway's Secret Garden, Les Miserables, TV's The It Factor), Tony Award Nominee Valarie Pettiford (Broadway's Fosse, TV's Half & Half, Film Jumping the Broom), Tom Lowe (TV's American Idol & Real Life: The Musical on OWN), Deborah S. Craig (Broadway's 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee & TV's Hart of Dixie), Julie Garnye (Broadway Cares' HAIR in Concert, Les Miserables), Stephanie Renee Wall (West Coast Ensemble's Gypsy), Sarah Wolter (Fred for Nothing), as well as additional performers TBA, will present an evening of songs made famous by Minnelli. In addition to performances, a ticket giveaway to see Liza Minnelli at the Hollywood Bowl will be presented at Eleven Nightclub in West Hollywood on Monday, August 6th at 10 PM.

The national tour of The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, will play Columbus as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Columbus 2013-14 season. Patrons can secure tickets to The Book of Mormon by subscribing to the Broadway in Columbus 2012-13 season. When renewing in 2013-14, subscribers are guaranteed the same seats and will therefore lock in tickets to the Columbus premiere engagement of The Book of Mormon.

Here are a few that I have hand-picked: the events about which I'm the most excited. These ones get the official BroadwayGirlNYC stamp of approval for the month of August.

Today we are talking to one of Broadway's most recent stars to make a big impression in Hollywood with his many recent TV and film appearances - from GLEE, 30 ROCK and CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM to the forthcoming HBO Liberace biopic BEHIND THE CANDELABRA as well as the new NBC series MOCKINGBIRD LANE - following his stints on the Great White Way in the lead roles of musicals such as ALL SHOOK UP, XANADU and FINIAN'S RAINBOW - the convivial, exceedingly talented Cheyenne Jackson. Giving us an all-access pass to his new role as songwriter, crafting two pop gems - "Drive" and "Before You" - and creating accompanying music videos for them as a preview of his forthcoming EP, which will also include collaborations with Sia and more. Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) will present more than 110 of the of the region's most talented young performing artists from Paper Mill Playhouse's Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory in a fully produced, original concert on the Paper Mill mainstage titled New Voices of 2012: It's Our Time.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to present "In Full Bloom," a benefit concert for The Wishing Kids Foundation. The event will be produced by Ryan Murray, a graduate of NYU-Tisch, Cap 21, and an Avenue Q cast alumni.
