The Disney/ABC Television Group's Casting Project will present its 12th year of the Diversity Talent Showcase in an ongoing effort to discover and nurture racially, ethnically diverse talent and actors with disabilities.

More talent is on display this coming Wednesday, Aug 7th, for Broadway Ballyhoo at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. This ever-changing musical revue will feature, this week, some of the greatest performers of our contemporary nightclub world. Scott will welcome to the Ballyhoo, the new leader of the Mabel Mercer Foundation and one of cabaret's most award-winning stars, KT SULLIVAN, plus the irrepressible MARK NADLER who has been called, 'arguably the greatest entertainer in the world,' and the multiple-award winning vocalist JULIE REYBURN. All three of the above are Nightlife Award-winning performers. They will be joined by the musical theater and TV Star who famously understudied Hugh Jackman inThe Boy From Oz, KEVIN SPIRTAS, as well as Broadway Rising star NIKKI GUEVARA.

The future of the Great White Way was featured in one unforgettable night with the brightest talent selected from some of the nation's finest theatrical institutions: AMDA, University of Cincinnati, Circle in the Square, Marymount, The New School, NYU's Cap 21, Steinhardt, and Tisch, and Pace University. Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and George Salazar, Filipino actors and singers who are making their Broadway debuts in the current production of GODSPELL, and the rest of the show's cast were in full force to welcome the Filipino-American press, and Filipino-American TV and film actor Sam Milby, at a cocktail reception at Bambo 52 sushi bar and lounge in New York City, on Thursday, March 15, followed by an evening performance of GODSPELL at Circle in the Square Theatre, and a post-show talk back with KABABAYAN LA's Janelle So.

2006 Tony award-nominated 'The Wedding Singer', starring mainstream television and recording stars Gian Magdangal and Iya Villana, opens at the Meralco Theatre in Manila on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 8 p.m. The proceeds from the opening night will directly benefit the medical outreach and feeding program of The Orange Project, a nonprofit educational foundation that helps needy and hungry Filipino children.
