Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies with its next edition of At This Performance…™ to be held on Sunday, October 21st at The Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street at 7 PM.

Universal Pictures Stage Productions/ Glenn Ross, Beacon Communications/ Armyan Bernstein and Charlie Lyons and Executive Producers Kristin Caskey and Mike Isaacson announced today that Bring It On: The Musical will play the final performance of its limited engagement on Sunday, December 30, 2012, after 21 previews and 173 regular performances at Broadway's St. James Theatre.

On October 28th at 8pm, BroadwayUnderstudies.com has once again invited some of Broadway's most talented understudies to the stage of the Laurie Beechman Theatre to share their rare talent-the ability to perform at a second's notice. They'll be thrown into the fire in 'Half Hour 2: A Last Minute Concert,' a show where even they don't know what they'll be singing before they step up to the microphone. The audience will get to vote on what song each performer will sing.

Universal Pictures Stage Productions/Glenn Ross, Beacon Communications/Armyan Bernstein & Charlie Lyons and Executive Producers Kristin Caskey and Mike Isaacson are pleased to announce the release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Bring It On: The Musical. The album, produced by Ghostlight Records and available on Back Lot Music, will be released for digital download on iTunes beginning September 25, 2012 and in stores October 16, 2012. The cast of Bring It On recorded the album at MSR Studios in New York City on August 9, 10 and 16, 2012 under the direction of Album Producers Alex Lacamoire, Tom Kitt and Kurt Deutsch.

CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's BRING IT ON was already hard a work this week recording their track for the album. Tony Award-winning composer of the Broadway musical In the Heights Lin-Manuel Miranda has tackled a new beast with his latest project, Bring It On: The Musical. The show is now playing on Broadway at the St. James Theatre after a nationwide tour. Universal Pictures Stage Productions/ Glenn Ross, Beacon Communications/ Armyan Bernstein and Charlie Lyons and Executive Producers Kristin Caskey and Mike Isaacson have announced a 15-week extension to the limited engagement of Bring It On: The Musical at Broadway's St. James Theatre (246 W. 44thStreet). The show, which was scheduled to close on Sunday, October 7, 2012, will now play its final performance on Sunday, January 20, 2013.

Book of Mormon cast members Nic Rouleau, Will Blum, and Jason Michael Snow are set to perform on Monday, July 16 in MORMONS: A Musical Cabaret of Godly Proportions, a special benefit cabaret at Triad NYC. They will be joined by a host of Broadway performers singing musical theater songs for 'saints and sinners alike'. All proceeds will benefit the 2012 FringeNYC production of #MormonInChief, a new play by Matthew Greene.
