PNC Broadway Across America - Pittsburgh - presented by The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and Broadway Across America - today unveiled its 'practically perfect' 2010/2011 season. One of the city's premier entertainment series, PNC Broadway Across America - Pittsburgh is generously sponsored by The PNC Foundation. The 2010/2011 season presents an array of must-see musical theater productions presented on the Cultural District's world-class stages.

From the theatrical madness of 'Young Frankenstein' that only a Mel Brooks could produce, to the depths of passionate emotion evoked by such legendary musicals as 'Les Misérables' and 'West Side Story,' announced by Broadway Across America for subscription season 2010-2011 are a mix of six (6) musical hits that will also include such current Broadway show-stoppers as 'HAIR,' the dance excitement of 'Burn The Floor,' and the fast-moving '80s rocker 'Rock of Ages' presented by Florida Theatrical Association at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

Broadway In Chicago has announced the complete 2010/2011 Broadway In Chicago Season Series. The shows in the 2010/2011 Season Series include the Chicago premieres of FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP, ROCK OF AGES, TRACES, GOD OF CARNAGE and 9 to 5: THE MUSICAL. BURN THE FLOOR also makes a special return to Chicago as part of the Season Series. Smash-hits WICKED and THE LION KING return to thrill Chicago audiences as off-season specials. The 2010 Season Series emphasizes Broadway In Chicago's long-standing commitment to bring the best of Broadway to Chicago.

On Friday, November 13th at 11AM, the cast of the hit Broadway musical ROCK OF AGES joined with the VH1 Save The Music Foundation to celebrate the show's support of music education in our nation's schools. This past spring, ROCK OF AGES donated $30,000 to the Foundation through a month-long ticket promotion, which enabled the VH1 Save The Music Foundation to grant a full set of new musical instruments to jumpstart the music education program at PS/IS 111 this school year.

On Friday, September 18, 2009, Kerry Butler as 'Sherrie' and Tom Lenk as 'Franz' began performances in the five-time Tony nominated hit musical, ROCK OF AGES at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) for a six month engagement.

The cast of the five-time Tony nominated hit musical, ROCK OF AGES, will continue to rock eight times a week through summer 2010. Tom Lenk joins the cast as 'Franz,' the role he originated in the Los Angeles and Las Vegas productions, beginning Monday, September 14, 2009 for a six month limited engagement. Mr. Lenk is best known for his portrayal as 'Andrew Wells' on television's 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer.' Mr. Lenk is taking over for Wesley Taylor, who will play his final performance on Sunday, September 13. Mr. Taylor is leaving to join the cast of the upcoming production of The Addams Family.

The New York Daily News reports that ROCK OF AGES star Constantine Maroulis was sucker punched by a 'drunk' non-fan at a party Wednesday night. The fist flying action took place during Casio's G-Shock party Wednesday night at Cipriani Wall Street.

Constantine Maroulis recently spoke to PEOPLE about his current appearance in ROCK OF AGES, his experience on 'American Idol,' and more. 'I was blessed ? I was a finalist (on 'Idol')... I probably wouldn't be in this chair if I wouldn't have gone on the audition that day,' says Maroulis.

Broadway's surprise 'head banging' hit Rock of Ages, is among the celebrated ranks of this year's Tony contenders, earning no fewer than five nominations-including a Best Actor nomination for star Constantine Maroulis. A Season 4 veteran of American Idol, Maroulis is the first contestant from the hit FOX series to earn such a prestigious distinction. But it shouldn't come as such a big shock as the actor attended the The Boston Conservatory of Music, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theater from the Boston Conservatory of Music and a minor in voice from the Berklee College of Music in 2002.

On Monday, May 25th (Memorial Day), the new, smash hit, 5-time Tony Award Nominated musical ROCK OF AGES will perform three numbers as part of the Toyota Concert Series on NBC's The Today Show.
