Paul Rudd Set To Host reasons to be pretty Talk-back With Cast 5/12

Following a successful weekend of post-show events with Andrew McCarthy, Christopher Meloni and playwright Neil LaBute, the best new Broadway play of the season* Reasons To Be Pretty has announced that actor Paul Rudd will appear following tomorrow's (Tuesday, 5/12 at 7:00 p.m.) performance in a talkback with the entire cast, including Tony-nominated Marin Ireland and Thomas Sadoski.

Fresh off his lauded New York production of Farragut North, director Doug Hughes reunites much of his ensemble cast, including Juno's Olivia Thirlby, The Wire's Isiah Whitlock, Jr, Mia Barron, Dan Bittner and Justin Huen, at the Geffen Playhouse to join the previously announced Chris Noth and Chris Pine. Noth, best known for his longtime stint as Detective Mike Logan on Law & Order and as the (in)famous Mr.Big on Sex and the City, is a fellow cast member from the Atlantic Theater Company's NY production, while Pine, who is starring as the young Captain Kirk in the new film Star Trek and was recently seen in the Geffen's production of Neil LaBute's Fat Pig, is new to the LA production. Written by Beau Willimon, Farragut North was recently nominated for two Outer Critics Circle Awards including Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play.

The production's producer and technical supervisor is Chris Newman. The play begins performances Tuesday, May 19th at 7:30PM at the SVA Theater (333 W. 23rd Street, and will play through Friday, May 22nd, the show will play performances Tuesday-Friday @ 7:30PM. Tickets for all shows are $10 General and $5 for students and seniors.
