The newly-revised musical 'The Addams Family' finds new life and laughs on tour.

Melanie Frankel joins USA Network as vice president, original comedy series, it was announced today by Bill McGoldrick, senior vice president, USA original scripted programming. Frankel will focus on comedy development and production, reporting directly to McGoldrick.

La Cage Aux Folles, starring film and TV actor George Hamilton and two-time Tony Award nominee and Christopher Sieber, is on tour and is currently playing at Boston's Citi Performaning Arts Center. Relativity Media announced today that legendary composer Alan Menken, known for his work on numerous Walt Disney films including his Oscar®-winning scores and songs from The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, will compose an original score for its upcoming spectacular reimagining of the classic Snow White fairy tale Mirror Mirror set to be released on March 16, 2012.

Playwright Douglas Carter Beane, represented on Broadway currently by both SISTER ACT and LYSISTRATA JONES tells the Associated Press today about his upcoming projects, and noted that 'In the pipeline for the next Broadway season is a play - 'The Nance' with Nathan Lane - and another, still hush-hush musical.'

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Broadway favorites Nathan Lane and Cheyenne Jackson are set to star in a comedy pilot on USA from Douglas McGrath. Lane will also executive produce the still untitled project.

USA Network today announces the January premiere dates for the new original series COMMON LAW on Thursday, January 26 at 10/9c and returning original favorites WHITE COLLAR on Tuesday, January 17 at 10/9c and ROYAL PAINS on Wednesday, January 18 at 10/9c.
