BWW Review: Natalie Douglas Breathtakingly (and Politically) Explores the Human Heart in CD Release Show at BirdlandBWW Review: Natalie Douglas Breathtakingly (and Politically) Explores the Human Heart in CD Release Show at Birdland
by Remy Block - Mar 29, 2016

"I'm a black woman in America; breathing is political," stated Natalie Douglas, wryly, early in her March 21 concert at Birdland to celebrate the release of her excellent new recording Human Heart. The appearance was a study in contrast, but the group, was most assuredly a cohesive instrument. (more...)
