The Cleveland Orchestra announces its acclaimed Celebrity Series for the 2013-14 season at Severance Hall, featuring iconic jazz and popular artists, and film scores of cinematic classics which will be shown on a large screen above the stage.

The accomplished R&B and jazz vocalist breaks new ground of her own with her first Spanish-language album, “Natalie Cole En Español,” released June 25 on Verve/Universal.

The quartet takes on nine selections ranging from Cedar Walton's “Bolivia” to Chick Corea's “Tones for Joan's Bones” to John Coltrane's “Mr. PC.”

The doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 8:00 p.m. The new CD is being launched this year in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's timeless masterpiece. Legendary actor/comedian Don Rickles will be honored with the Friars Club's Lifetime Achievement Award for Comedy at a star-studded awards gala which will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York.
