The 9th Annual Winter Gala of Epic Theatre Ensemble (titled 'Spark') will be held on Monday, March 1st, 6:00 p.m. at 24 Fifth (24 Fifth Avenue btw. 9th and 10th).

American Theater Company (ATC) is thrilled to announce that the second installment of its 25th Anniversary celebration, The Silver Project, will include world premiere plays by playwrights Kristoffer Diaz, Steve Harper, Laura Jacqmin, Joel Drake Johnson and Justin DM Palmer. The second Silver Project presentation will take place at American Theater Company, 1909 W. Byron Street, Chicago on Monday, March 1, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.

Maddie Corman who plays Holly in the Broadway production of NEXT FALL tells LoHud.com that her Broadway break is a dream she can trace to her youth, 'I discovered I wanted to be an actress pretty much on the Irvington Town Hall Theater stage that my mom was instrumental in resurrecting. Spurred by critical acclaim and audience demand, Magic Theatre, San Francisco's home for new plays, has extended the run of Oedipus el Rey for an additional two weeks. This world premiere penned by MacArthur genius Luis Alfaro and directed by Loretta Greco must close Sunday, March 14th.

Aaron Louis (Producing Director, 3LD Art & Technology Center) in association with New Georges and The Essentials, will present the world premiere of THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL, written by Marielle Heller, adapted from the hit graphic novel of the same name by Phoebe Gloeckner, and directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde and Rachel Eckerling in a multi-media production. Performances will begin on Sunday, March 15 at 8:00 p.m. at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector Street). The official opening night will be Sunday, March 28 at 8:00 p.m. (Performances will run through Monday, April 12.)

Trinity Rep continues its 46th season with Sarah Ruhl's dark comedy Dead Man's Cell Phone, directed by Beth F. Milles. Trinity Rep resident acting company member Janice Duclos stars as Jean, an unassuming woman who is thrown headlong into an unexpected odyssey when she answers an incessantly ringing cell phone in a quiet café.

The Public Theater announced complete casting for the world premiere of Suzan-Lori Parks' THE BOOK OF GRACE, directed by James Macdonald. The complete cast will feature Amari Cheatom as Buddy, John Doman as Vet, and the previously announced Elizabeth Marvel as Grace. THE BOOK OF GRACE will begin previews on Tuesday, March 2 and run through Sunday, April 4 with an official press opening on Tuesday, March 16. All evening performances for THE BOOK OF GRACE will be at 7:30 PM, except for Saturdays at 8 PM.

Under the direction of Joe Mantello (Glengarry GLen Ross, Take Me Out), THE PRIDE features Hugh Dancy (Adam, Journey's End), Adam James (Last Chance Harvey), Andrea Riseborough (Happy Go Lucky) and Ben Whishaw (Bright Star, Brideshead Revisited). Ms. Riseborough and Mr. Whishaw are making their New York stage debuts.

Sarahbeth Grossman and Craig Zehms today announced that Dan Butler (best known as Bulldog on "Frasier"), Roderick Hill (Butley on Broadway opposite Nathan Lane), Scott Jaeck ("Charmed"), Brian Leahy ("The Junior League of Superheroes"), and Austin Peck ("Days of Our Lives") would star in the Off-Broadway premiere of Martin Casella's acclaimed comedy THE IRISH CURSE at the Soho Playhouse.

MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) today announced that their all new production of Alexi Kaye Campbell's The Pride, directed by Joe Mantello (Glengarry Glen Ross, Take Me Out), will extend for an additional week.

Performances began last week at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) and continue through March 20, 2010. The show officially opened on Tuesday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. and BroadwayWorld.com was there!

The scarlett theatre/film project, Robert E. Schneider and Jack Thomas/Bulldog Theatrical will present STUCK by Jessica Goldberg at The Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row from February 11 - 21. Marshall Pailet (The 49 Project) will direct the 90-minute play starring Anthony Alessandro, Steven Hauck, Kate Kearney-Patch, Kate MacCluggage and Athena Masci.
