Midtown Direct Rep to Present THE ROAD DOWN THE MOUNTAIN to SOPAC, 11/2

MIDTOWN DIRECT REP (MDR), the company that brought New Jersey the award-winning Rated P for Parenthood and Listen to Your Mother: North Jersey, returns to the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) with a Theatre in the Loft reading of Jack Canfora?s The Road Down the Mountain. Directed by MDR company member Michelle Tattenbaum, The Road Down the Mountain premieres on Sunday, November 2 at 7 pm at SOPAC (One Sopac Way, South Orange, NJ, 07079).

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of Shanley's Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, YOLO! Productions brings you to that bar and allows you to be a fly on the wall. From director Michelle Tattenbaum (Nobody Loves You - Second Stage) Nuyorican Poets Cafe? will allow audience members to grab a drink with Danny and Roberta and experience this ground breaking play up closer and more personal than ever before.

YOLO! Productions announces it's run of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea written by John Patrick Shanley, directed by award-winning director Michelle Tattenbaum. Danny and the Deep Blue Sea opens Tuesday October 7, 2014. The performance schedule is October 7-10, 20, 22-24 at 7:00 p.m at Nuyorican Poets Cafe.

MOTHER JONES AND THE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE - presented by The New York Musical Theatre Festival, Crystal Theatre and Benjamin Simpson - has announced a second extension to its run with an additional performance on Friday, July 25 at 5:00 PM. The dramatic new musical inspired by the true story of the trailblazing labor organizer, which already has a sold out performance, will run from July 17 to 26, 2014. The show has book, music and lyrics by Cheryl E. Kemeny (co-founder of Crystal Theatre) and stars Lynne Wintersteller (A Grand Night For Singing and Annie on Broadway) and Robin De Jesus (two time Tony Award nominee). MOTHER JONES AND THE CHILDREN'S CRUSADE is directed by Michelle Tattenbaum (Nobody Loves You at The Old Globe and Second Stage), choreographed by Clare Cook with music direction by Micah Young (Best Music Director, NYMF 2013). The show is an Official Selection of the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival's Next Link Project.
