Little Theatre of Virginia Beach is presenting Shakespeare in a fresh way with the world premiere of the contemporary musical, A Simple Romance, by Michael Hunsaker. The show runs weekends from May 21 through June 6, Fridays and Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:30 pm.

Ava Giorgione of Harrisburg will appear in a groundbreaking virtual musical, A Killer Party: A Murder Mystery Musical, produced by 'BAA Onstage'. The show was conceived as a new style of online theatre by Jason Howland, Nathan Tysen, Kait Kerrigan, Rachel Axler and a team of 40+ Broadway professionals.

The Wick Theatre has been keeping audiences entertained for months now with their dynamic Supper Club Cabarets, which take place in the grand lobby, but now the time has come to open the doors to the main theatre! The first show will be appropriately, Back Home Again, a John Denver tribute by Tom Becker and his band, who have been featured on PBS.

Live entertainment at The Wick Theatre resumes with the fabulous Wick Supper Club, featuring outstanding performances and lavish 3-course dinners. The events take place in the Wick Theater lobby and all social distancing rules are in effect!

Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF's building may be closed but that hasn't stopped its creative reinvention of how the show must go on. Each week, actors from past productions are featured in 'throwback' videos on the company's Facebook page. Actors are submitting their own fresh takes of their previous performances from living rooms and backyards following stay-at-home orders during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bucks County Playhouse continues its 80th Anniversary Season with an all-new production of the high-energy, international musical sensation, 'Mamma Mia!'

Mamma Mia follows the story of 20-year-old Sophie on a quest to determine who her father is by inviting her mother Donna's three paramours (Sam, Harry, and Bill) from 20 years go to her Greek Island wedding.  In Donna's hay-day she had a girl group, Donna and the Dynamos, with her friends Lisa and Tanya who also return to the island for the wedding.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was thrilled to present Christina Crawford's 'Mommie Dearest: The Musical' in concert on Monday, June 10.  The cast featured Tina Scariano as Christina and Dorothy Bishop as Joan, with an all-star cast.  Drew Wutke accompaned on piano, with Daniel Shevlin on cello.

Stephen Nachamie (She Loves Me) will direct an industry reading of the new musical Pride & Prejudice - the Musical, with book, music and lyrics by Lawrence Rush, on February 18th and 19th featuring DeLaney Westfall (Kinky Boots, Side Show, Sweeney Todd) as Elizabeth Bennet.
