Broadway for Biden has announced updates for upcoming fundraiser In Our America: A Concert for the Soul of the Nation. The one-night only virtual event will bring Broadway together to celebrate hope and benefit the Biden Victory Fund.

Tectonic Theater Project will present MOMENTS IN PROGRESS, a reading of selections from new plays currently in development, on Monday, January 27 at 7:30pm co-presented by and performed at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave. Tectonic Theater Project company member and two-time Emmy Award winner Michael Emerson will host the evening, guiding audiences through Tectonic's current projects. Emerson has been a part of Tectonic since their first breakout hit, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, and has since starred in the hit television shows Lost, Arrow, Person of Interest and more.

The CBS Television Network announced today that it has rewarded all five series from its top-rated freshman class with new production orders.

class='western' style='text-align:justify'>CBS Studios International and SYFY in Spain announced today a content licensing agreement for the Spanish television premiere of the new CBS series EVIL. The new series from Robert and Michelle King (creators of 'The Good Wife' and THE GOOD FIGHT) will premiere in January 2020.

Red Bull Theater today announced the cast for the one-night-only, all-star benefit concert performance of the Olivier Award-winning Best Musical Return to the Forbidden Planet, a musical of Shakespearean proportions by Bob Carlton. The 2019-'20 Season kick-off event will take place Monday October 21st at the Peter Norton Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th Street)

The Tribeca TV Festival will return September 12-15 for its third edition.The lineup is a showcase of new series debuts, new episodes from fan favorites, talks with creators and stars, and one-night-only events that can only be seen at Tribeca. CBS Television Studios will kick off San Diego Comic-Con® with exclusive world premiere screenings of its new series EVIL for CBS and NANCY DREW for The CW on Thursday, July 18. Secret Identity a brand new play by playwright Chris Weikel will debut it's World Premiere at The Flea Theatre on January 9th. The story tackles high school bullying in a witty and provocative way when the protagonist escapes into his comic book world of Super Heroes before learning that being authentic is key to acceptance. Secret Identity bows in previews on January 9th with Opening Night on January 12th.
