The TEN Tenors return to Popejoy Hall to perform their Greatest Hits LIVE on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 7:30pm.

As its title suggests, it's like theatrical comfort food.

Theater Latté Da (TLD) has announced that its founding Artistic Director, Peter Rothstein, will step down to assume a new role as Producing Artistic Director of Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida, succeeding longtime Asolo Rep artistic leader Michael Edwards.

The most popular act in the history of the McCallum Theatre, The TEN Tenors will return to Palm Desert just in time for Valentine’s Day, with a show featuring their greatest hits from the past 25 years. The TEN Tenors will perform seven shows, from Wednesday, Feb. 9, through Monday, Feb. 14.

The Ten Tenors will return to Popejoy Hall on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 8:00 pm to perform a selection of dynamically staged music, from operatic arias to soulful ballads, all in celebration of their most recent album, Love Is in the Air.

Asolo Repertory Theatre will receive two grants totaling $175,000 from the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation, including a $125,000 one-year award for general operating support. Casting has been announced for the World Premiere production of Hell Yes I'm Tough Enough, a modern historical satire exposing the farcical pantomime behind the British 2015 election circuit. Informed by sources within the government, the production stars Ben Hood, Michael Edwards, Cassandra Hercules, Edward Halsted, Venice Van Someren, Mikhail Sen, Annie Tyson, James Bryant and Ben Alderton. The official press night will be Friday 26 April, 7pm at Park Theatre.

Counting Sheep, the award-winning immersive Ukrainian folk opera, will headline VAULT Festival 2019, playing an eight week run from 23 January to 17 March, with a press night on 29 January.

After surviving a tumultuous election season and, let's face it, a pretty scathing couple of years of anger, hatred and division, sometimes you just need to grab a couple hours of joy wherever you can find it. Last night I found my joy at The McCallum Theatre as The Ten Tenors opened a six show stretch, breaking their thirty sold-out show record with standing room only attendance. They are, in fact, the most popular group in the history of the McCallum Theatre. (In fact, as they proclaim from the stage, they consider The McCallum their 'home away from home') And there is no doubt as to why.. Their stunning vocal prowess in combination with slick production and wry Aussie humor makes for an evening that is both the icing and the cake!
