The producers of the award-winning Bat Out Of Hell a?" The Musical, featuring Jim Steinman and Meatloaf's greatest hits, are delighted to announce that the production will come to Scotland for the first time next year as part of its debut UK tour.

Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical, featuring Jim Steinman and Meatloaf's greatest hits will be returning to tour the UK, following an Australian tour, with performances beginning at Manchester Opera House from 10 - 26 September 2020. The other tour dates include The Alexandra Birmingham from 29 September - 10 October, New Wimbledon Theatre from 13 - 24 October, New Theatre Oxford from 27 October - 7 November, Glasgow King's Theatre from 10 - 21 November and Liverpool Empire from 8 December - 2 January 2021. Further tour dates and casting to be announced.

Today in Times Square, famed Q104 classic rock radio host Jim Kerr climbed out onto the marquee of Hard Rock Cafe to announce that the five-time Tony Award-nominated musical ROCK OF AGES will return to the New York stage this summer in a special 10th Anniversary Production at New World Stages (340 W 50th St). To mark the announcement, and the milestone anniversary, he was joined by alumni from throughout the musical's Broadway run, who performed 'Don't Stop Believin' live above Times Square. The return production of the musical - produced by Michael Cohl/S2BN Entertainment in association with Barry Habib, Scott Prisand/Seth Fass, Tony Smith, and Randi Zuckerberg/Mara Burros-Sandler - begins performances on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, for a 16-week limited engagement through Sunday, September 29, 2019. This week however, the run was canceled at both the Ordway in St. Paul and the National in Washington, DC (no announcement yet by Dallas) with the DC venue's web site noting...

It was around 3pm on November 1, 2018. The members of the company of BAT OUT OF HELL, which was in the midst of an engagement at Toronto's Mirvish Theatre, received a text saying there would be a company meeting at 7pm. Nothing good ever comes of those; veterans knew there was something up. Once gathered, the Company Manager told them the bad news: the tour was ending where it began, in Toronto. The final performance there was to take place, as scheduled, two days later. The rest of the stops had been cancelled. Their futures were now uncertain. The night they were told that news, one actor broke his hand during the performance, another his foot.

A show representative tells us that the tour will be postponed until 2019. 'The tour will now launch in 2019 with stops in St. Paul, Dallas, and Washington D.C. ahead of the previously announced run at New York City Center which will begin performances, as previously announced, on Tuesday, July 30,' says a rep. 'The production is working with everyone involved to reschedule and news about the North American tour will be announced soon.'

The producers have announced Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical, the critically acclaimed, thrilling new musical based on one of the best-selling albums of all time, will play an eight-week engagement at New York City Center (131 West 55th Street) as part of its North American tour, which is currently at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre and officially launches next week at Detroit's Fox Theatre.

The internationally-acclaimed hit theater show The Simon & Garfunkel Story will stop by the Capitol Theater at Overture Center for the Arts on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2 and 8 p.m. during the 35-city U.S. tour. The immersive concert-style theater show chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the '60s to their dramatic split in 1970. A Musical Parody (www.theofficemusicalparody.com) today announced actress Sarah Mackenzie Baron will play the lead role of Michael Scott starting September 20 at The Jerry Orbach Theater. Baron, accomplished singer, actor, and dancer hailing from Los Angeles, beat out several other contenders for the coveted role.
