Over 300 performances of more than 50 different programs of theater, dance and music featuring local and world-renowned talent are on tap for the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' 2016/17 season, among them a production of MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, helmed by SPRING AWAKENING director Michael Arden.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles unveiled its 2016-17 season today, included in which is a production of the legendary composer's musical MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, to be helmed by Tony nominee Michael Arden.

Voting runs through May 31 for the 13th Annual BroadwayWorld.com Awards! Just In! The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for media covering New York theatre announced today its award winners for the 2015-16 season in 25 categories.

Who really cares about spring? Awards season has arrived- the only time of the year that really matters to Broadway fans everywhere. The 2016 Tony nominees were announced earlier this week, with a record 16 nods going to HAMILTON, and show like SHUFFLE ALONG, SHE LOVES ME and LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT also picking up a considerable amount of recognition. Just yesterday the nominees flocked to the Paramount Hotel, where they met with the press for the first time since getting the big news. Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the artist lineup for Curtain Up!, Bay Street's 5th Annual Spring Benefit honoring Ana R. Daniel at Joe's Pub in New York City on Monday, May 9. Curtain Up! will be hosted by Bay Street's Artistic Director, Scott Schwartz.

At 8:30 AM tomorrow morning will be the announcement of the nominations for this year's Tony Awards! The announcements will be made by Tony nominee Andrew Rannells (The Book of Mormon; HBO's Girls) and Tony Award winner Patina Miller (Pippin; CBS' Madam Secretary). Blake Silver, associate director of Broadway's celebrated 2015 Deaf West revival of 'Spring Awakening,' will co-direct the upcoming concert premiere of 'Emojiland' at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles.  Creators Keith and Laura Harrison will also co-direct.

The 2016 Drama League Award Nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award were just announced this morning at Sardi's, by Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed and James Monroe Iglehart. Just this morning, Something Rotten and Spotlight star Brian d'Arcy James along with this season's break-out and genuflecting sensation Jennifer Simard from Broadway's Disaster announced the The Outer Critics Circle nominees for the 2015-16 season from New York's legendary Algonquin Hotel (59 W 44th Street.)  Outer Critics Circle nominations are the first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season.

On May 16 (9:30PM) Center On The Aisle (#COTA) will present 'We Love Her,' a celebration of one of Broadway's foremost - and its funniest - leading ladies, Tony winner Laura Benanti (currently starring in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of She Loves Me). Conceived and hosted by #COTA's editor-in-chief, and frequent guest on NBC Weekend Today in New York, Steve Schonberg, the night will feature a cast of Benanti's friends and fellow stars who will celebrate this incredible talent with songs and stories from her career (Into the Woods, Gypsy, The Wedding Singer, ABC's Nashville, and more) - and of course, her most 'favorited' Tweets.

A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, directed by Darko Tresnjak, featuring book & lyrics by Robert L.
