HER Wins Best Film at 2013 Detroit Film Critics Society Awards: Full Winners List Announced

The Detroit Film Critics Society is pleased to announce the best of 2013 in ten categories. The society was founded in Spring 2007 and consists of a group of twenty Michigan film critics who write or broadcast in the Detroit area as well as other major cities within a 150-mile radius of the city including Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Flint, Michigan.

Nominees for the 71st AnnuAl Golden Globe® Awards were announced this morning from the Beverly Hilton Hotel inBeverly Hills, CA. AZIZ ANSARI, Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wildeand Miss Golden Globe Sosie Bacon joined Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) President Theo Kingma for the announcement. Nominations were announced in 25 categories.

Brazen Theater presents the world premier of The Miss Longview Texas Drag Pageant, a new play written and directed by Mark Hookerbeginning December 12th at the John DeSotelle Studio #301 in the Times Square Arts Building. The show runs five performances through December 15th prior to an extended engagement at the same venue scheduled for January 17th thru February 2nd of 2014. The cast includesRobert Agis (Law and Order) , David M. Farrington (Baptized at FringeNYC), Annabel Guevara (Teatro Vivo), Daniel Keith (Rambler),Chris Rivera (Hedwig and The Angry Inch), Max Henry Schloner (The Shape of Things), Nathan Shapiro (The Pillowman), Scott Silvestro (Raft of Medusa) and Ali Wetzel (Women of Manhattan).
