Red Bull Theater today announced the new season of its OBIE Award-winning Revelation Reading Series, the unique opportunity to hear rarely-produced classic plays, and brand new plays in conversation with the classics, performed by the finest actors in New York.

Is Hamlet mad or sane? Should Denmark be ruled by the melancholy Dane, or by Claudius? Ted Pappas's production bravely casts all accepted answers into uncertainty.

To complete his illustrious career leading Pittsburgh Public Theater, Ted Pappas has chosen William Shakespeare's Hamlet as the final play he will direct as the company's Producing Artistic Director. His cast of 21 actors will be led by Indiana, PA native Matthew Amendt. La Jolla Playhouse presents the world premiere of HOLLYWOOD by Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis, Chasing the Song) and directed by Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley. Starring Harriet Harris, Patrick Kerr, Kate Rockwell and more, HOLLYWOOD runs through June 12 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre, with an official opening on May 18.
