The Emmy(R)-nominated comedy series VEEP kicks off its ten-episode second season SUNDAY, APRIL 14 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO. Created by Armando Iannucci (Oscar(R) nominee for co-writing 'In the Loop'), the show stars Emmy(R)-winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, who becomes vice president, only to discover the job is nothing like she expected, but everything she was warned about.

Upright Citizen Brigade has announced January extension dates for The 2017 Tony Awardz, a musical parody by Stephanie Streisand and Rocco Privetera. Performances will be held Monday, January 2nd and 9th, 2013 at 8:00pm (with future dates to be announced). HBO has renewed the comedy series 'Girls' and 'Veep' for second seasons, to include 10 episodes each.

In VEEP, Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Emmy(R) winner for 'Seinfeld' and 'The New Adventures of Old Christine') stars as Selina Meyer. The show tells the story of a woman who becomes vice president, only to discover the job is nothing like she expected, but everything she was warned about.

Sunday night's debut episode of HBO's new comedy series VEEP, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus drew 1.4 million viewers in the 10 PM time slot. For the night, including a 12 AM airing, the comedy averaged 1.7 million viewers.
