York's Musicals in Mufti Continues With THE GAME OF LOVE, 5/11-13

York Theatre Company celebrating the legendary librettist and lyricist Tom Jones with Musicals in Mufti: The Tom Jones Festival, concludes the spring series with the New York premiere of The Game of Love, with book and lyrics by Tom Jones, music by classical composer Jacques Offenbach, and arrangements & additional music by Nancy Ford. The Game of Love is based The Anatol Plays by Arthur Schnitzler.

First up was Roadside, with Book & Lyrics by Tom Jones and Music by Harvey Schmidt. Directed by David Glenn Armstrong, the cast featured original Roadside cast member Ryan Alexander, Erick Devine (Seussical), Janine DiVita (Odyssey, The Musical), Jamie LaVerdiere (The Producers), Daniel C. Levine (Les Miserables), Ed Watts (The Fantasticks) and Nick Wyman (The Phantom of the Opera).

Hosted by Jeremy Morse (Drama Desk nominee, Bloodsong of Love) and Jennifer Ashley Tepper (If It Only Even Runs a Minute), Songs You Should Know includes new work from Brad Alexander Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Joshua H.
