Megan Hilty shares special songs of her roles and her life in the classic venue, Café Carlyle

Megan Hilty, highly acclaimed star of stage and screen, is thrilled to return to Café Carlyle with “An Evening with Megan Hilty.”

Megan Hilty, theater extraordinaire, is coming to Upstate New York for an intimate holiday spectacular! She will be in Saratoga Springs at the Universal Preservation Hall on Saturday, December 3rd.

Following the sold-out success of its inaugural presentation of Broadway in the Woods with Jeremy Jordan, Art Farm at Serenbe will soon present Megan Hilty in an intimate cabaret setting accompanied by her musical director Matt Cusson.

Covington starred on Broadway in 'The Color Purple.' Her other stage roles include 'The Heart of Rock & Roll,' 'Motown the Musical,' 'The Book of Mormon,' and 'Dreamgirls.' 

One of the most highly anticipated concerts of the season took place Saturday January 25 at the Bram Goldsmith Theater of the Wallis Annenberg in Beverly Hills. It co-starred Megan Hilty and Cheyenne Jackson. To say the least both performers were at the very top of their form and blew the roof off the Annenberg by just being their professional selves, singing sublimely separately and together and sharing stories about their career and personal lives.

Dave Koz's music and multitalented friends lit up the Kravis Center For The Performing Arts last night on all levels. It was a spectacular presentation of swinging holiday music and multi media lighting effects that had the West Palm Beach audience dazzled during the entire concert. The friends who joined Dave for this tour were, Jonathan Butler, Melissa Manchester, Michael Lington and special guest Chris Walker. Broadwayworld was there…check out the photos below.

Here's my understatement of the year so far: Broadway star Megan Hilty is one of the most delightful creatures that has ever graced a stage. This was wonderfully confirmed all throughout the Tony Award nominee's Segerstrom Center for the Arts Cabaret series solo debut, which recently opened to an enthusiastic, candlelit crowd Thursday night and continues for two more performances through November 16, 2019 at the Samueli Theater in Costa Mesa. Beautiful, quirky, bawdy, self-deprecating, and undeniably talented, Ms. Hilty was thoroughly engaging and entertaining during her nearly 80-minute acoustic set backed by musical director and principal pianist Matt Cusson and her bassist/guitarist husband, fellow Broadway performer Brian Gallagher.

Musician/songwriter/actor/family man Brian Gallagher will west coast premiere live his latest concept album BROADWAY STARS SING THE MUSIC OF BRIAN GALLAGHER at the Colony Theatre for one night only October 19, 2019. Performing his songs will be Carly Hughes, Matt Cusson, Carrie Manolakos and, a star in her own right, Brian's wife Megan Hilty (and others, yet to be announced). I had the chance to pepper Brian Gallagher about his creative process and his not-so-secret weapon.

The Colony Theatre in Burbank has announced The Music of Brian Gallagher, an evening featuring Broadway stars singing Gallagher's songs, on Saturday, October 19, at 8pm. Set to appear are Megan Hilty, Carly Hughes, Matt Cusson, and Carrie Manolakos, with more to be announced. At this event, music from Gallagher's concept album Brownstone will be heard live on the West Coast for the first time.

Caruso's Cast Party with Billy Stritch, which is a New York City institution and sought after attraction at important cabaret venues nationwide wowed the audience at Mr. Finn's Cabaret at Barrington Stage Co. last night. Mr. (William) Finn himself was present for the always funny and sophisticated show biz banter that is the hallmark of any Cast Party when Caruso and Stritch bring their music and comedy to what is arguably the most famous 'Open Mic' in the entertainment world.

TodayTix celebrated the concept album release of "Brownstone," a new musical written by acclaimed singer/songwriter Brian Gallagher, with a one-night only concert at City Winery (155 Varick St.) last night as part of the TodayTix Presents series.

Acclaimed performers Matt Cusson, Celisse Henderson, and Erica Sweany will join the one-night only, TodayTix Presents celebration of "Brownstone," a new musical written by singer/songwriter Brian Gallagher. The concert, held at City Winery (155 Varick St.) on May 28, will also feature vocals by Tony Nominee and NBC "Smash" star Megan Hilty.

Mark Stuart Dance Theatre (MSDT) will celebrate their 10th anniversary gala, honoring 10 years of art inspiring change, on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 5pm at New York Live Arts Theater (219 W 19th St).  The gala will include a performance of When Change Comes: A Movement Forward, which is playing a limited tour in September of 2018.  Featuring special performances from Abigail Breslin (Academy Award nominee, Little Miss Sunshine), "American Idol" alum Jerome Bell, and singer/songwriter Matt Cusson (John Lennon Songwriting Award winner, 'One of Those Nights' & 'Leaving L.A.'), and more, this one-night event marks a decade of MSDT's physically stunning and emotionally compelling storytelling making bold statements about our society.  A portion of the proceeds from the Gala will go directly to benefit March for Our Lives.
