Bernadette Peters has dazzled audiences and critics with her performances on television, in concert, and on recordings, but she is perhaps best known as one of Broadways' brightest stars. Nominated for seven Tony Awards, she has won two and received an honorary Tony just last year. Her work with Stephen Sondheim - such as Sunday in the Park With George, Into the Woods, and a recent revival of Follies - is legendary.

At last night's Theatre Development Fund Gala, they celebrated the 40th Anniversary of TDF's TKTS Booth in Times Square - which first opened on June 25, 1973, and honoring The Shubert Organization's Chairman and Co-CEO, PHILIP J. SMITH who was involved with the founding of TKTS.

The Ridgefield Theater Barn is proud to present the world premiere of the pre-New York workshop of Ruthless! The Musical, by Joel Paley (book & lyrics) and Marvin Laird (composer). The creative duo direct and musically direct this production, respectively, and have re-worked their original 1993 Off-Broadway hit in anticipation of an upcoming run in New York. Performances will be Today, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm, today, January 17th through the 27th, with Sunday matinees at 2pm.
