The New Orleans Theatre Association and East Jefferson General Hospital Broadway in New Orleans are proud to announce that the new U.S. National Tour of ANNIE will play February 3 - 8, 2015, at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin for the 19th time, this production of ANNIE will be a brand new physical incarnation of the iconic Tony Award-winning original.

Broadway fans found everything from rare opening night gifts to classic original Playbills, met their favorite stars and bid on once-in-a-life-time experiences to push the grand total raised Sunday, September 21, 2014, at the 28th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction to an all-time high of $713,986, for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The Ziegfeld Society will present Tony Award nominee and Theatre World Award winner Walter Willison in JOLSON, MY DAD & ME on Saturday, September 27th. The multi-media musical weaves together the songs of Al Jolson to tell the story of his father as a young man, growing up in the early part of the 20th Century, through Prohibition, The Great Depression, WWII, and into the present day, and of his own personal encounters with such iconic Jolson associates as Ruby Keeler, Patsy Kelly, Judy Garland, Richard Rodgers, Irving Berlin and others. Featuring such all-time American Songbook classics as 'Rockabye Your Baby with a Dixie Melody', 'Swanee', 'You Made Ne Love You' and many more.

Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the new U.S. National Tour of ANNIE will go on sale to the public Friday, Sept. 19 at 10 AM. Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin for the 19th time, this production of ANNIE will be a brand new physical incarnation of the iconic Tony Award-winning original. ANNIE will play Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W Randolph) for a limited two-week engagement November 18 through 30, 2014.

Broadway in Detroit today announced that it is partnering with the Michigan Humane Society (MHS) on a special fundraiser for the non-profit organization through the upcoming engagement of ANNIE at the Fisher Theatre. Those who are familiar with the iconic Tony Award-winning musical know that it stars a red-headed girl named Annie and her best friend, Sandy the dog.

The new U.S. National Tour of ANNIE will play at Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Moran Theater from Tuesday, October 21st through Sunday, October 26th for eight performances only. Tickets for ANNIE go on sale today, September 12th at 10AM through the FSCJ Artist Series, sponsored by Chase, the official presenter of the Jacksonville show.

Tonight's scheduled master class with Martin Charnin, creator of ANNIE at the White Plains Performing Arts Center has been postponed, it was announced today.

Martin Charnin, creator of ANNIE, comes to the White Plains Performing Arts Center for 'Creating Broadway: The Composers' on Monday, September 8 at 8 p.m.
