The Hollywood Reporter has revealed the news that Three-time Tony Award nominee Martha Plimpton has been cast in a multi-episode role on Grey's Anatomy. Beginning with the season premiere of the show, Plimpton will appear as the mother of a young patient.

The American Theatre Wing and Broadway League hosted an evening to honor 2009 Special Tony Award recipients at Montenapo last night, Saturday June 6th, 2009.
