Tyrone, Georgia's Legacy Theatre recently announced it will close out its 2010 season with a production of Maltby and Shire's BABY. The production will begin its run April 16th and play through May 2nd.

Auditions for Legacy's summer spectacular, 'ANNIE,' will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 8:30AM-1:00PM, for those girls wishing to audition for the role of Annie or the female orphans, ages 6-14 only.

Hockey Day in Canada is this Saturday, January 30th and in preparation for the big event, members of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival are squaring off in a hockey game on Friday January 29th. Fern Kershon and Orange Thought Productions will present Heart of the City, a new play by Eric Lane, directed by Martha Banta, featuring Eliza Foss, Scott Kerns, Marcia Jean Kurtz, Martin LaPlatney, Melissa Miller and Mark Setlock. Performances will begin Thursday June 11th at the Theatre at 30th Street, for a limited engagement.

Romeo and Juliet play out their tragic love story at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre this summer. Shakespeare '70, Mercer County's classic repertory company, kicks off the Kelsey Summer Series with 'Romeo and Juliet' Fridays and Saturdays June 26, 27, July 3 and 4 at 2 p.m., and Sundays, June 28 and July 5 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road. This year marks Shakespeare '70's fortieth consecutive year of performing Shakespeare.
