The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences will present "An Evening with Blake Edwards," which will include a screening of his Hollywood satire "S.O.B." (1981), on Thursday, September 30, at 7:30 p.m. at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

Yesterday, July 5, celebrity guests attended the Christian Dior show in Paris, France. The show took place at the Musee Rodin as part of Paris Fashion Week Fall/ Winter 2011. This year's Paris Fashion week began July 5 and will run until July 8. BroadwayWorld brings coverage of the event below.

The event was a special toast to nine time Tony award winner Tommy Tune who will receive the group's Douglas Watt Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Brooke Shields at the awards gala benefiting The Auditory Oral School of New York.

Scores of the brightest lights on stage and screen will turn out in red carpet finery for a celebration of classic Hollywood, Hooray for Hollywood honoring the legendary Oscar winner Patricia Neal, Smith Barney's Shirl Penney and The Count and Countess de Lesseps, Stage 6 at Steiner Film Studios, 15 Washington Avenue at the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard. The gala evening is slated for November 1, with all proceeds going to The Auditory Oral School of New York, a non profit organization which specializes in teaching deaf and hard of hearing children to listen, talk, think and socialize.
