Hampton's translation of Chekhov's The Three Sisters, starring Jon Hamm, Jennifer Westfeldt, Tessa Thompson, Sarah Zimmerman and Reid Scott in a radio theater production for L.A. Theatre Works, and the West Coast premiere of his translation of Yasmina Reza's Tony Award-winning God of Carnage, starring Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden at the Ahmanson Theatre, both open on Wednesday, April 13.

Due to overwhelming demand, 'God of Carnage' at Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre has been extended for two additional weeks. The production, which features the original Broadway cast of Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden, will now be performed in Los Angeles for eight weeks from April 5 through May 29, 2011.

According to Deadline.com, stage veteran James Gandolfini is on board for HBO Films' 'Eating with the Enemy.' Gandolfini will play 'Egan, owner of a Hackensack rib joint who became involved in back channel negotiations with North Korea to stop producing nuclear weapons' as described by Deadline.
