FOOD FOR THOUGHT PRODUCTIONS, now in its 22nd year, continues to celebrate the oft-neglected one-act play and theatre at its best with award-winning actors, writers and directors in tremendously fun productions set for their 2022 Season Opener on March 28th.

Starring and executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, directed by Mimi Leder and produced by the studio Media Res, Hello Sunshine and Echo Films, season three of the broadly acclaimed drama will be showrun and executive produced by Charlotte Stoudt (“Fosse/Verdon,” “Homeland,” “House of Cards”).

Everyone's favorite nanny has arrived on Broadway, and isn't Mary Poppins. Just last night, Mrs. Doubtfire officially opened on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St). BroadwayWorld was on hand for the big night and you can check out photos from the red carpet arrivals below!

Audible just announced a new original series perfect for family listening: Cinnamon Bear: A Holiday Adventure, performed by star-studded cast with original musical numbers. The original Cinnamon Bear radio series debuted in 1937 as a cliffhanger-style children’s radio show that featured daily episodes during the holiday season!

Last night, Chicago on Broadway celebrated 25 years of Razzle Dazzle on Broadway with a special celebration.

 The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return on Tuesday, October 26th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances. Thirteen actors have been paired with writers who have crafted unique pieces especially for them. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.  

Brooks Ashmanskas, Tisha Campbell, and Emerson Brooks have been announced to join Neil Patrick Harris has series regulars in the upcoming Netflix comedy series, Uncoupled. Marcia Gay Harden and Tuc Watkins have also been announced as reoccurring characters.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts announced today that Jason Robert Brown, Savion Glover, Priscilla López, Susan Stroman, Marisha Wallace, and Christopher Wheeldon have joined the growing list of Broadway stars participating in I'm Still Here: A Virtual Benefit for the Billy Rose Theatre Division, airing June 23, 2021 on Broadway On Demand at 8pm EST and 8pm PST. The fundraiser will help raise critical funds for the Library for the Performing Arts' beloved Theatre Division as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.
