TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, the critically acclaimed company recently named 'Company of the Year' by The Wall Street Journal, will celebrate its 20th Anniversary of presenting 'neglected or rarely produced works of literary merit' at its annual Spring Gala on Monday, April 29th at The University Club (One West 54th Street). The celebratory evening will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. TACT company member Simon Jones will serve as master of ceremonies and introduce the evening's entertainment and live auction featuring celebrity auctioneer David Silverman - which includes VIP tickets to the 2014 Australian Open and tickets to the 2014 Olivier Awards in London. On Monday, April 15, the Broadway at Birdland concert series presented the very first UKE NIGHT!, featuring ukulele performances by Broadway performers Marc Kudisch, Nancy Anderson, Clarke Thorell, Lauren Molina, Jason Poole, Erin Denman, Bev Ward, Kevin Worley, Hannah Elless, Mara Davi, Aaron Gaines, Brittney Bertier, and others. Broadway Actors to Teach PS 221 Students in Brooklyn, 4/13

25 Broadway performers cross the Brooklyn Bridge and travel deep into Crown Heights on Saturday, April 13 to teach 3rd, 4th, 5th graders and 6th graders at PS 221 how to sing, dance & act. It's an inspiring, new partnership between Boardman Productions and Seeds in the Middle, a 501c3 charity empowering students and schools in the obesity epidemic to get all the resources they need to get healthy.
