LITTLE WOMEN: THE MUSICAL is quite the curiosity -- a musical that isn't particularly enhanced or defined by its music. But though the music may be mostly forgettable, the voices in the A.D. Players' production are not. Neither are the performances. It is the cast that ultimately elevates this admittedly simplistic but feel-good show to one of the must-sees of the summer. (more...)

From April to November, Carolyn will be conducting conversations with the community, inviting the public to experience her art making, exhibiting her work at the museum's Wayside Visitor Center, and creating a site-specific outdoor sculpture inspired by the Fruitlands landscape and history. Cape Cod Theatre Company's production of Little Women: The Broadway Musical is really something special. As I couldn't give you a visceral explanation of what it made me feel, this is a story who's truest depth and exquisiteness - its true emotion - is to be found once the journey is complete, and even then does a new beginning have the means of springing forth. Both the story and the way it was performed on stage, with music to bring out what is nothing less than extraordinary about four average girls and what their lives amount to, has such a spark to it as only CCTC can make happen - not only with this but with every show the group chooses to do. Cape Cod Theatre Company will remount it's acclaimed 2008 production of Little Women with its original stars Caitlin Mills (Spelling Bee, Suessical) and Richard Jay Sullivan (La Cage, Class Act) as Jo March and Professor Bhaer.  Anthony Logan Cole (Les Miserables, Jekyll and Hyde, Song Of Solomon), who is currently standing by for Uncle Joey in Off-Broadway's Full House-The Musical will join the cast as Laurie.  The production is directed and choreographed by Broadway's Terry Gene Noegoet (Hello Dolly, My Fair Lady) with Music Direction by Cristina Dinella (Defendant Maurice Chevalier).
