The Rick Bogart Trio, a renowned jazz ensemble, is celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month with a special live performance this Saturday, April 20, at Le Rivage, the renowned jazz venue located at 340 W. 46th Street in New York City beginning at 8:30pm.

Color and light will converge in a program of symphonic works by Jimmy López Bellido, Duke Ellington, and Modest Mussorgsky, which will comprise the final Symphonic Series concert of the 2023–24 season.

Lizzy & the Triggermen, a 10-piece jazz band helmed by Lizzy Shapiro, delights in infusing swing era music with a modern sound – “Duke Ellington meets Amy Winehouse,” as Shapiro describes it.
