Premiering on Broadway in 1966, IT'S A BIRD… IT'S A PLANE… IT'S SUPERMAN was first presented in the UK by All Star Productions in March 2014 at Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre in Walthamstow. Casting has just been announced for the upcoming West End transfer of SUPERMAN, and will include Craig Berry (SUPERMAN), Michelle LaFortune (LOIS), Paul Harwood (MAX), Sarah Kennedy (SYDNEY), Matthew Ibbotson (SEDGWICK), Charlie Vose (JIM), Andrew Truluck (PERRY), Jonathan Chan (FATHER LING), Thomas Widdop (FAN PO LING), Christina Harris (TAI LING), William M Lee (DING LING), Jade Nelson (MING FOO LING), Vicky Longley (ENSEMBLE), Charlotte Debattista (ENSEMBLE) and Shiv Rabheru (ENSEMBLE).

Gwenda Bonds to Release New Book, FALLOUT, Based on the Life of Lois Lane

Gwenda Bonds, author of The Woken Gods and the upcoming Girl on a Wire, will be releasing The Fallout, based on the story of Lois Lane. Amazon states that the book will be available in January 2015; however, Bonds says it will be released in May.

'Adventures of Superman' Plaque Dedication Today

Celebrating the 100th birthday of 'Adventures of Superman' star George Reeves, Superman creators Jerome Siegel and Joseph Shuster and over 60 years of the Adventures of Superman, a plaque will be dedicated Today, August 16 at 5400 Wilbur Avenue, Tarzana, California. The dedication will begin at 9:00 AM. The event is being organized by Armand Vaquer, author of 'The Monster Movie Fan's Guide To Japan.' The site of the plaque was chosen as it was used in 1953 for a location shoot of the 'Adventures of Superman' 'The Man Who Could Read Minds' episode. Here, all principal characters of the show, Clark Kent (George Reeves), Perry White (John Hamilton), Lois Lane (Noel Neill), Jimmy Olsen (Jack Larson) and Inspector Bill Henderson (Robert Shayne), were filmed. Attending the plaque dedication are Jack Larson, Beverly Washburn, Laura Siegel Larson and Stephanie Shayne Parkin. The plaque dedication is open to the public.

All Star Productions has just announced that their acclaimed production of IT'S A BIRD… IT'S A PLANE… IT'S SUPERMAN will transfer to The Leicester Square Theatre in February 2015 for a limited run of just 10 performances! All Star Productions presented the UK Premiere of the show in March 2014 at Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre.
