The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (Lincoln Center) and The Philhallmonic Society present 'Swingin' On A Star'--a musical celebration of the 1940s on Saturday, June 23rd, 2012, 2:30 p.m. at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center (entrance on 65th and Amsterdam Avenue). The concert is free with general seating.

The smash movie hit 9 to 5 is now a musical, and The Willows Theatre has it. The regional premiere of the musical version comes to the Willows mainstage in Concord, May 21 through June 23 with book by Patricia Resnick and music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, including the top-seller "9 to 5."

The Belcourt Theatre presents Castles in the Sky: Miyazaki, Takahata and the Masters of Studio Ghibli, a film retrospective of the renowned Japanese animation studio from June 1-13.
