Main Street Theater announces its 38th MainStage Season and 33rd Theater for Youth Season.

Described as 'a new spin on the children's classic Alice in Wonderland, the all-new contemporary musical Through the Looking Glass will premiere on October 12 and bring to life eye-popping sets, costumes, black light theatre, magic and puppets.'

New Georges (Susan Bernfield, Producing Artistic Director; Sarah Cameron Sunde, Deputy Artistic Director; Jaynie Saunders Tiller, Managing Director) in association with Irondale Center (85 Oxford Street between Lafayette Avenue and Fulton Street, Brooklyn) will present the World Premiere of Kara Lee Corthron's ALICEGRACEANON, October 18-November 9.

Elixir Productions Theatre Company is teaming up with Babeland and the LGBT Community Center to celebrate sexual expression and support community with the FringeNYC run of Alice & The Bunny Hole. Following each performance, the cast will present a high-quality, Babeland sex toy to a lucky audience member who purchased his or her ticket in advance. Caffeine Theatre announces that it will close it doors after eight seasons. The storefront theatre closes after producing nineteen shows, including four world premieres, eleven Chicago premieres, two remounts at Theater on the Lake, and garnering nine Joseph Jefferson Award nominations.

Arts@Renaissance presents the World Premiere of Third Rail Projects' THEN SHE FELL, an immersive theater event inspired by the life and writings of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland). Performances begin October 3 at Arts@Renaissance, the Garden Level of the former Greenpoint Hospital, run by St Nicks Alliance. Opening night is slated for October 6.

Beginning this fall, ENCORE will present 'The Big Miniseries Showcase,' a mix of classic and new critically acclaimed miniseries on Monday nights at 8pm ET/PT. The slate will debut with the U.S. television premiere of the ENCORE Original miniseries, 'The Crimson Petal and the White.' The BAFTA nominated two-part drama will premiere on Monday, September 10 and Tuesday, September 11 at 8pm ET/PT.

The tenth anniversary season of Glorya Kaufman presents Dance at The Music Center continues with the U.S. debut of The National Ballet of Canada's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon, music by Joby Talbot, at The Music Center's Dorothy Chandler Pavilion with live orchestra for five performances only October 19-21, 2012. Karen Kain is the Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada.
