Co-directed by Prince himself and Susan Stroman (who also choreographs), the evening celebrates an illustrious career spanning over six decades from the 1950s up to the present day, during which time Hal Prince has produced and/or directed more than 30 Broadway shows, winning a record 21 Tony Awards along the way.

On Saturday, November 14, Music Director LARRY RACHLEFF and the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Leonard Bernstein's beloved West Side Story Symphonic Dances. Electric violinist TRACY SILVERMAN will make his Philharmonic debut with Seeing is Believing by Nico Muhly, a Providence native. The program also features Ravel'sAlborada del Gracioso and Debussy's La Mer, all beginning at 8:00 pm at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence. The concert is endowed by the Collis family, and Guest Artist Sponsors are Marjorie and Robert Catanzaro. Kentucky Shakespeare is proud to announce their 2016 Season. CSO's's 2015 HOLIDAY POPS to Feature More Than 300 Performers

The CSO's Holiday Pops, an annual tradition in Columbus since 1983, was conceived by chorus master and conductor Ronald Jenkins who has also led all of its 96 performances. In 2015, Jenkins, the musicians of the Columbus Symphony, and vocalists of the Columbus Symphony Chorus, will be joined by the Columbus Children's Choir, dancers Justin Gibbs and Joanie Evans, children from BalletMet, narrator Steven Crawford, and of course, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, featuring the talents of more than 300 performers in this heartwarming holiday spectacular. The Sunday matinee concert will be the 100th performance of the CSO's Holiday Pops.
