According to Showbiz411.com, Clive Davis announced during a reading for his book at the 92nd Street Y last night that his top pick Bartlett Sher has signed on to direct the 2014 Broadway revival of MY FAIR LADY. Sher's recent credits include South Pacific, Golden Boy, and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Emblem3 kick off their sold-out west coast tour dates this Wednesday, February 27 in Los Angeles at the Roxy. Overwhelming fan demand caused the tickets to sell out in under a minute, and the X Factor breakout band are pleased to announce that they will now be heading to the east coast for a run of dates. Now according to USA Today, Davis is eying LES MISERABLES star Anne Hathaway and Colin Firth to play Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins respectively. Firth has also starred in a big screen musical in the past, taking on Harry in 2008's MAMMA MIA. Neither actor, however, has yet starred in a Broadway production.

Michael Riedel reports that Simon Cowell is hard at work on THE X FACTOR MUSICAL, which just had an invitation only workshop in London last week, starring Alexander Hanson as the infamous reality show judge. The show, with a 16 million dollar budget is being co-produced by Cowell and Stage Entertainment, and features an original score by Steve Brown and a script by Harry Hill.

THE X FACTOR begins its next nationwide search for the best undiscovered new solo artists and vocal groups on Wednesday, March 6 in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California's Galen Center.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Eliza Doolittle might be heading back to Broadway in the near future, as music industry legend Clive Davis has just announced plans to produce My Fair Lady in 2014. He told LAT: 'I always wanted to produce a Broadway show, and I've never done it. I'm hopeful we will prepare and finalize everything this year to bring 'My Fair Lady' next year to Broadway with a stellar cast.'

THE X FACTOR named Tate Stevens its winner tonight on part two of the FOX show's season finale. After knock-out performances of Mariah Carey's version of 'All I Want For Christmas' and a duet with Stevens on Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb', Broadway star and singing sensation Carly Rose Sonenclar took the second spot, followed by Fifth Harmony in third.

On last night's part one of THE X FACTOR season finale, Carly Rose Sonenclar pulled out all the stops to prove she has what it takes to land the $5 million record deal. The 13-year-old gave three performances: a second, more polished version of Nina Simone's 'Feeling Good,' a celeb-duet with LeAnn Rimes to 'How Do I Live,' and finally, Leona Lewis' version of Leonard Cohen's classic 'Hallelujah.'
