Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will soon present two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in a Broadway production of Violet, directed by Leigh Silverman. Based on the short story 'The Ugliest Pilgrim' by Doris Betts, Violet features music by Jeanine Tesori and book & lyrics by Brian Crawley. Violet will be produced in association with Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, David Mirvish, Barry and Fran Weissler, Elizabeth Armstrong, and Mary Jo and Ted Shen. Signature Theatre Extends David Henry Hwang's KUNG FU Through 4/6

Signature Theatre has announced a third one-week extension for the world premiere of David Henry Hwang's new play KUNG FU, directed by Leigh Silverman, with choreography by Sonya Tayeh. The production will now play through Sunday, April 6 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Tony Winner Rosemary Harris to Star in Roundabout Theatre's INDIAN INK this Fall

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced Tony Award winner Rosemary Harris will play the role of 'Eleanor Swan' in the Off-Broadway premiere of Tom Stoppard's Indian Ink, directed by Carey Perloff. The production will begin performances on September 4 and open Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold & Miriam Steinberg Centre for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).

Signature Theatre to Host BRUCE LEE FILM SERIES Alongside KUNG FU

As part of the popular "Signature Cinema" series, Signature Theatre will present "The Bruce Lee Film Series" in conjunction with the World Premiere of David Henry Hwang's new play KUNG FU, directed by Leigh Silverman with choreography bySonya Tayeh. Signature will screen Enter the Dragon on Tuesday, February 25th and the documentary I Am Bruce Lee onMonday, March 24. Both screenings will start at 7pm and take place in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing SquareSignature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Tickets are now on sale and are $8 for Signature subscribers and $13 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased by visiting signaturetheatre.org or calling Ticket Services at 212-244-7529.
