The STRAY CATS will release 40--their first new album in 26 years--this Friday, May 24 on the heels of three singles they've recently issued from the album: 'Cat Fight (Over A Dog Like Me),' 'Rock It Off' and 'Cry Danger,' the latter of which was premiered this past Friday at Guitar World. 

The Eisemann Center and the City of Richardson announced the 2019-2020 Season of Eisemann Center Presents (ECP) at the Annual Season Preview Party on Thursday, May 9, 2019. The season includes our two full subscription series: Jeffrey Siegel's Keyboard Conversations with a total of four concerts; and the Family Theatre Series with four productions and the accompanying immersive children's program Eisemann Extras. In addition we have 16 diverse productions ranging from superstar Mandy Patinkin to Asleep At The Wheel on their 50th Anniversary Tour and America's Got Talent favorite, deaf singer Mandy Harvey all returning to the Eisemann Center this season.

Rockabilly music legend, Lee Rocker and his band, will be performing for one night only at Husson University's Gracie Theatre on Saturday, November 10, at 7:30 p.m. This Grammy-nominated member of the legendary music group Stray Cats will perform some of the band's signature hits like 'Sexy and Seventeen', 'Stray Cat Strut' and 'Rock This Town.' Original songs, and hits by Elvis and Carl Perkins will also be included in the concert performance.

The upcoming seventh season of show at Husson University's Gracie Theatre is shaping up to be its most exciting yet. Montalvo Arts Center continues its acclaimed Carriage House Concert Series with a rollicking solo appearance by Lee Rocker, co-founder of the famed rockabilly band The Stray Cats. Rocker made his mark standing on, spinning, and rocking out on his giant upright bass, prompting the Orange County Weekly to declare "there has never been a rock 'n' roll bass player more fun to watch in concert." With the Grammy-nominated The Stray Cats, which has sold over 10 million albums and garnered an astounding 23 gold and platinum certified records worldwide, Rocker recorded hits including "Stray Cat Strut," "(She's) Sexy +17," and "Rock This Town," listed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the songs that shaped rock 'n' roll.
