The Tony Awards has announced the star-studded team that will bring Broadway fans across the world exclusive content live from the red carpet and behind-the-scenes at this year's Tony Awards. The American Theatre Wing's 70th Annual Tony Awards - hosted by Tony Award winner James Corden - will air on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, June 12, 2016 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) live from the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

The film, which opens theatrically on June 10, just premiered at the MoMA and you can check out photos from the big night below!

On Monday, June 6, the Theater People podcast welcomes Tony nominee Jennifer Damiano. She made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in the groundbreaking and Tony Award-winning musical SPRING AWAKENING. She went on to originate the role of Natalie in the Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt musical NEXT TO NORMAL, for which she earned a Tony Award nomination.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you some cabaret highlights for this week as picked by our theatre editors, including: Laura Michelle Kelly at 54 Below; New Musicals at 54: Funked Up Fairy Tales by Kirsten Childs; The Songs of Carner & Gregor; Barrett Foa: Grin and Barrett; and 54 Sings How to Succeed.

The complete lineup for the Best of Broadway Sings, the next concert in the Broadway Sings concert series at the Highline Ballroom, will feature Corey Cott (Newsies), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), and Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland).

On Monday, May 23 the Theater People podcast welcomes Krysta Rodriguez, Andy Mientus, and Alex Boniello. The three sit down to discuss the Tony nominated Deaf West Theater production of SPRING AWAKENING in which they all starred. Topic discussed include how they each came to the production, the unique and exciting challenges of working in a Deaf West production, and how it feels for their show to have been nominated for a Tony Award.

On Monday, May 16 the Theater People podcast welcomes BRIGHT STAR's Tony nominated leading lady, Carmen Cusack.

The first annual Broadway Bee, featuring Paige Davis (Chicago), Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland), Tony winner Christian Borle (Something Rotten), and Jose Llana (The King and I) took place just last night at The Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd St). Proceeds benefit Broadway Bound Kids, a NYC performing arts education organization. Ten teams, each representing a Broadway show, were encouraged to pull out all the stops to correctly spell the words. The more funds each team raised, the more they were allowed to cheat! 

From tonight, May 7, through June 4, 2016, SpeakEasy Stage Company will proudly present the Boston Professional Premiere of DOGFIGHT, a powerful new musical about unexpected love, loss, and brotherhood, based on the 1991 film starring River Phoenix and Lili Taylor.

Award-winning actor and playwright John Cariani (Something Rotten!) will be the Comfort Counselor for the first annual Broadway Bee, featuring Paige Davis (Chicago), Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland), Tony winner Christian Borle (Something Rotten), and Jose Llana (The King and I)  in an adults only spelling bee, on Monday, May 9 at 7pm at The Cutting Room (44 E. 32nd St). Proceeds benefit Broadway Bound Kids, a NYC performing arts education organization.

On May 2, 16 and 30, Feinstein's/54 Below will welcome Broadway leading lady Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland, Mary Poppins, Fiddler on the Roof) in a personal, revealing evening of song and stories. You'll hear some of her most favorite songs, ranging from musical theatre classics like "Don't Rain on My Parade", to current pop hits by artists such as Sara Bareilles. There will even be tunes from her favorite shows written by Jason Robert Brown, Stephen Sondheim, and Gary Barlow & Eliot Kennedy… who wrote her current Broadway venture, Finding Neverland. Laura Michelle Kelly invites you to experience her heart and a taste of what makes her feel at home. Be ready for some fun surprises and a big hearted welcome!

Everyone has their own pre-show rituals that they need to do before a show. This year I especially became extremely interested in seeing how other people prepare for shows.
