This stunning evening features acclaimed pianist John Kameel Farah and a company of exquisite dancers - Peggy Baker, Sarah Fregeau, Benjamin Kamino, Sean Ling, Sahara Morimoto, Andrea Nann - and runs Wednesday, February 27 -- Sunday, March 3 at the Betty Oliphant Theatre.

Amidst colorful sets, costumes, a brightly adorned tree, youth and adults alike are touched by this tale of Christmas spirit.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association today announced the lineup for the 41st edition of Dance on Camera. Set to Debussy's 'String Quartet in G Minor' - which will be performed live by the Bryant Park Quartet - the new work is inspired by Picasso's iconic 1905 painting, 'Famille de Saltimbanques.'

World-renowned ballet educational institution, The Joffrey Ballet School, is excited to have their Jazz and Contemporary program participate in a cross-disciplinary initiative collaborating with Parsons School of Design, Louis Vuitton, the New School's Jazz and Contemporary Music Department, and famed New York choreographers Francesca Harper, Ginger Thatcher, Angelica Stiskin, Ephrat 'Bounce' Asherie, Tiffany Rea-Fisher and Joyce King.

Nimbus Dance Works's 9th season marks the company's most extensive year of performances and programs to date. Performance highlights include the company's debut at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC), Centenary College, the Major Artist Series at The Theater at Raritan Valley, Flushing Town Hall, and the Jersey City Artists Studio Tour. One explores a rich mix of cultures through music and dance, and the other reflects contemporary issues through theater and puppetry.

The final program line-up is set for the annual Chicago Dancing Festival, taking place at venues across downtown Chicago today, August 20 through August 25. The Festival, co-produced by renowned choreographer/Chicago native Lar Lubovitch and esteemed Chicago dancer Jay Franke, enters its sixth season, expanded this year to six consecutive days of dance events that are all completely free.
