Broadway Records announced today the release of Patti Murin’s debut single, “The Next Right Thing”. The single is available digitally. “The Next Right Thing” is part of the forthcoming debut album from Patti Murin and Colin Donnell, produced by Robbie Rozelle.

Hulu has greenlit Up Here, a new musical comedy series with original music by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Hamilton's Tony-winner Thomas Kail is slated to direct with Tony-winning Dear Evan Hansen writer Steven Levenson serving as show runner. The musical romantic comedy is set in New York City follows a couple falling in love in 1999.

Cinderella is a musically-driven bold new take on the traditional story you grew up with. Our heroine, played here by Camila Cabello, is an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow, but with the help of her Fab G, played by Billy Porter, she is able to persevere and make her dreams come true.

The series is created by Steve Conrad ('Perpetual Grace Ltd.'), who will join the all-star cast for a Q&A and first look at the series.  'Ultra City Smiths' premieres July 22 on AMC+. Additional panelists will be confirmed at a later date.

Mayans M.C. has been renewed for a third season, building on the strength of its current second season, it was announced today by Nick Grad, President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment. It was additionally announced that Co-Creator and Executive Producer Elgin James will serve as showrunner for the series' third season, which is scheduled to return to FX in the fall of 2020.

News broke yesterday that Disney+ has scrapped the previously announced Muppets series, from Josh Gad, Adam Horowitz, and Eddy Kitsis. The project was set to feature original songs by Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, and be directed by Jason Moore. Following the news, Gad took to Instagram to shed light on what happened.

Caissie Levy was last seen in London in 2012 when she originated the role of Molly in the West End production of Ghost at the Piccadilly Theatre, and went on to perform a two-night residency at the Hippodrome in 2013. She's since originated the role of Elsa in the Broadway production of Frozen. On 15 September, she is back in the UK for one night only, performing at Cadogan Hall as part of Club 11 London's mission to bring Broadway to our capital.

Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, Tigger, Roo, Kanga, Rabbit and Owl are on a rescue mission to find Christopher Robin in TheaterWorks' YouthWorks' season-opening production of the musical Winnie the Pooh KIDS on stage in the McMillin blackbox theater August 16 - September 8, 2019 at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts.

Eight outstanding educators from schools and performing arts centers around the U.S. will work one-on-one with Broadway greats at the 10th Annual FREDDIE G FELLOWSHIP July 10th - 13th.  The event is underwritten by Freddie ('G') Gershon, Co-Chairman of the global theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI), his wife Myrna and MTI. The four days of classes and activities honor instructors and teachers who are working to make a difference for their students and communities through the process of staging musical theatre productions in their schools and educational theatre groups. In addition to the all-expense paid visit to New York, each of the teachers' schools receives $5,000 from Freddie and Myrna. The teachers are empowered to identify and select how their respective school's theatre program can best utilize the funds.
