The Wells Fargo Wagon is a-coming down the street and, from July 25th-August 19th, it'll be parked onstage of Farmers Branch's The Firehouse Theatre in their upcoming production of THE MUSIC MAN. Directed by Bruce Coleman, with music direction by Bryce Biffle and choreography by Bethany Lortenzen, the classic musical is sure to be a hot ticket.

After a monumental return to television this year, American Idol is taking the show on the road this summer with the American Idol Live! 2018 tour and takes the stage at Alberta Bair Theater on Thursday, August 30 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets, $57, $45, and $45 go on sale Friday, May 11 at 12:00 Noon at the ABT Box office, located at 2801 Third Avenue North, and by phone at (406) 256-6052 and online at www.albertabairtheater.org. After a monumental return to television in 2018, “American Idol” announces it's taking the show on the road with the American Idol Live! 2018tour, spanning three months this summer. The shows will feature this season's talented Top 7 finalists: Cade Foehner, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Catie Turner, Gabby Barrett, Jurnee, Maddie Poppe and Michael J. Woodard with special guest, Season 8 “American Idol” winner, Kris Allen. The 40+ city tour will kick off on Wednesday, July 11 in Redding, CA and will include a stop in St. Louis at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Friday, August 10 at 7:00 p.m.

This Summer, The Firehouse Theatre will present the famous musical fable GYPSY from May 31st-June 17th, directed by Derek Whitener, with musical direction by John Norine Jr. and choreography by Kyle Christopher West. Marilyn Setu serves as assistant director; Kim Velten will stage manage; Costume Design is by Victor Newman Brockwell.

The 26th Annual Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival Presented by Regions Bank is right around the corner, and each year receipts from the door of one show are donated to a local non-profit organization. This year's beneficiary is Musicians Corner, a program of The Conservancy for the Parthenon and Centennial Park, set for Friday, April 6, 6:30 p.m. at The Local and is scheduled to feature Kris Allen, Leigh Nash, Tony Lucca, Emily West.
