BWW Flashback: BULLETS OVER BROADWAY Closes on the Great White Way

The world premiere production of the new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, written by Woody Allen, and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, and directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, will play its final performance on Broadway today, August 24 at the St. James Theatre. BULLETS OVER BROADWAY Announces Rush Policy for Preview Performances

Producers Letty Aronson and Julian Schlossberg today announced a General Rush policy for preview performances of BULLETS OVER BROADWAY. For each preview, a limited number of orchestra Rush tickets will be available each morning when the box office opens at 10 AM. Rush tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis for $37 each, with a limit of two tickets per person. (more...)

Breaking News: Broadway's CINDERELLA Announces Casting Update: Joe Carroll to Succeed Santino Fontana, Victoria Clark Will Return

The producers of the hit musical CINDERELLA on Broadway announce new cast members who will join the company in the coming weeks: starting January 28, Joe Carroll begins performances as Prince Topher, taking over the role from original cast member and Tony Award nominee Santino Fontana, who concludes his year-long run in the musical. Also beginningJanuary 28, Todd Buonopane will replace original cast member Greg Hildreth as the rebel Jean-Michel; and CINDERELLA ensemble member Stephanie Gibson will replace Marla Mindelle as stepsister Gabrielle. On January 21, Tony Award winner Victoria Clark will return as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother Marie, which she originated and for which she received a Tony Award nomination. The producers of Cinderella announced today that television and film star Fran Drescher will make her Broadway debut as Cinderella's stepmother Madame, beginning performances on February 4th for a 10-week run through April 13 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). And Scott had the perfect place to try out his theory, the acoustically wonderful Town Hall on West 43rd St. With no money, but the support of a great many singers who wanted, literally, to be heard in a way that was no longer possible on Broadway, he launched the first Broadway Unplugged, boasting 'Sound Design by God.'
