Dove Cameron, a star of Disney Channel's popular series “Liv and Maddie,” has been cast as Amber Von Tussle, while Garrett Clayton, co-star of a pair of TV movie musicals, will play Link Larkin on NBC's 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 telecast of “Hairspray Live!” 

The Broadway favorite is prepared when she finds her name misspelled at her parking spot.

Harvey Fierstein, who will reprise his Tony Award-winning role as Edna Turnblad, introduced his fictional daughter and shared that he is currently working on the script which he says may be a little different than the film and stage version of the show.
