Kentucky Performing Arts, working in partnership with PNC Broadway in Louisville, is kicking off the 2022-2023 KPA Presents season with a big first: the premiere performances of the North American national tour of the hit Broadway show Jagged Little Pill.  The touring show debuts in Louisville on August 31 and September 1 after a month of rehearsals, set construction, and production tasks took place at The Kentucky Center. After the first two initial Louisville performances, Jagged Little Pill will hit the road for a national tour.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced that beloved Broadway stars Ali Ewoldt and Jimmy Smagula will join host Kyle Barisich on the the Bay Street stage for the Music Mondays performance of Sip & Sing LIVE! on Monday, August 29, at 8 p.m.

Symphony Space has announced highlights of its 2022-23 season, an array of live events that bring literature to life, spark conversation, and provide intimate encounters with wide-ranging musical artists. The programming features acclaimed authors, actors, musicians, comedians, and other luminaries.

Wednesday’s broadcast of “Live with Kelly and Ryan” (on 7/20/22) marked the show’s most-watched telecast (2.287 million) on any day in 1 month — since Monday, 6/20/22. Wednesday’s episode featured news anchor David Muir, actress Bailee Madison and dermatologist Dr. Doris Day.

“Live with Kelly and Ryan” ranked as the week’s No. 1 daytime talk show – network or syndicated – in Households (1.5 rating), Total Viewers (2.081 million) and Women 25-54 (0.6 rating). In fact, “Live” stood as the No. 1 daytime talk show for the 26th consecutive week (including 12 ties) among Women 25-54.

Watch Sutton Foster on LIVE! with Kelly and Ryan discussing her current Broadway run in The Music Man. She discussed her pre-show ritual with Hugh Jackman, which they call 'carpet chats,' in which they sit down and talk before every performance. Foster also touched on her love of crafting and why she considers herself to be a 'pro-crocheter.'

The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced that Broadway's Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls, Bring it On: The Musical, Legally Blonde) and Hunter Foster (Little Shop of Horrors, The Producers, The Bridges of Madison County) will star as Ellen and Clark Griswold in the upcoming world premiere of the laugh-out-loud new musical comedy The Griswolds' Broadway Vacation.
