Fall has arrived but October is heating up with the acts at Blue Note Hawaii. This month includes legendary national artists, some of the biggest local talents around and some great comedy.

Bristol Riverside Theatre announces its Summer Music Fest's three-concert series featuring a kaleidoscope of styles - from pop music of the 50's to patriotic classics to the golden years of Broadway.

May has major stars lining up at Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, kicking off with two local favorites DeAndre Brackensick and Robert Cazimero, followed up by seminal reggae artists Black Uhuru, soul songstress Meleana Brown and American Idol star Taylor Hicks.

Award winning singer Robert Habermann brings the highly acclaimed His Way to Barking on Friday 24th February. Grammy-nominated Jazz recording artist Sacha Boutros returns to Martinis Above Fourth with her popular show, Sacha Sings Streisand. Sacha created the show in 2014 because she always wanted to pay tribute to her longtime idol, Barbra Streisand. That show provided the opportunity to do just that and the audience loved every minute of it! Skip E. Lowe, the comic, raconteur and perennial TV host whose weekly public access cable program has been airing in Los Angeles, New York and other major markets for more than 35 years--the longest in television history--and is generally credited as the inspiration for the Martin Short character “Jiminy Glick,” died in his home at Kingsley Manor Apartments in Hollywood on Monday, Sept. 22. He was 85 and had been suffering from emphysema and other respiratory ailments, though he never smoked, but blamed years of working as a comic in smoke-infested nightclubs. Lowe had conducted more than 6,000 interviews, often two a week, with guests that included Orson Welles and Bette Davis.
