The production comes to New York following a successful UK premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe August 7 and 8. Conceived as a fully virtual musical production, La Nela De Socartes will be free for festival audiences to stream.

Greggory Nekrasovas and Mass Cicio's acclaimed debut musical La Nela De Socartes will make its festival debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for a strictly limited engagement on August 7 and 8. It is a remounting of the original 2020 virtual production and will be available to stream for free on the festival's Fringe Player platform.

On Wednesday, June 3, A LITTLE NEW MUSIC returned to Rockwell: Table & Stage in Los Feliz for its 8th edition, showcasing the best of new musical theatre writing with an incredible cast of Broadway and local talent. Contestants in LA's Next Great Stage Star competition had an exciting second week on Sunday, January 12th. The theme for this round was Breaking New Ground - A Little New Music, and featured songs from some of today's most up and coming musical theatre writers.

The 2014 season continues this weekend after its launch last Sunday, January 5th, in North Hollywood, CA. at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal.

Weaving the 50s, 60s and 70s hits together into a playful scenario is his specialty, and if only Hair had never existed! For, his latest endeavor Summer of Love, now onstage @ the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach has the look, feel and message of Hair : 'Make love not war'! In spite of the comparisons, Summer of Love has its moments... and a dynamite ensemble that moves and grooves.

When it comes to taking a catalog of familiar, era-specific songs, tossing them together with colorful costumes and sets, then weaving an easily digestible story to tie them all together, jukebox musical aficionado Roger Bean has his formula down pat.
