Johnson, Jack Lane, Radio Mouse Entertainment, Schaffert/Hummel, Driemeyer-Sills Productions, Michael Guccione, David Gersten, Erach Screwvala, and The Shubert Organization, by special arrangement with Cranberry Productions, are proud to welcome Celeste Oliva to the cast of SHEAR MADNESS.  She replaces Kate Middleton in the role of Barbara beginning tonight (Wednesday July 20th), joining Tony and Drama Desk Award Winner Cady Huffman along with Jordan Ahnquist, Adam Gerber,  Patrick Noonan, and Jonathan Randell Silver. Cady assumes the role of Mrs. Shubert, originated by Lynne Wintersteller. Also joining the cast is Jonathan Randell Silver, most recently seen in Please Continue at Ensemble Studio Theatre, who will assume the role of Mike Thomas.  Adam Gerber, who created the role of Mike Thomas, has replaced Jeremy Kushnier in the role of Eddie Lawrence. Death is but the next great adventure for Broadway's A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. BroadwayWorld learned this evening that the Tony Award-winning Best Musical will play its final performance on the Great White Way on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Producer Joey Parnes announced the news today. The musical's record-breaking run at the Walter Kerr Theatre will have played nearly 1,000 performances on Broadway, and its Tony Award-winning star, Jefferson Mays, will have died more than 6,000 deaths as various members of the illfated D'Ysquith family. Her predecessor Lisa O'Hare exits the production on February 8, 2015 after originating the role at Hartford Stage, then in San Diego at The Old Globe, and finally on Broadway at The Walter Kerr Theatre.
