Film and television icon Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens) will bring his signature brand of hilarious mayhem to Broadway for a special six-week limited engagement of the acclaimed stage play, The Pee-wee Herman Show. The production will begin previews October 26 at the Sondheim Theatre.

The 67th Golden Globe Awards were broadcast live on NBC last night from the Beverly Hilton. The awards ceremony was seen in more than 160 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. Winners of this year's awards include GLEE for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical, Meryl Streep for 'Julie & Julia', Michael C. Hall for 'Dexter', Alec Baldwin for '30 Rock', John Lithgow for his role on 'Dexter', Christoph Waltz for 'Inglourious Basterds', and HBO's 'Grey Gardens'.

Professionalism. It is a word that is bandied about with frequency in theater circles. When it is applied to a gaggle of pint-sized vagabonds who are rehearsing a middle school production of Oliver!, it becomes laughable. However, when its observed first-hand on one of New York's stages, it is truly appreciated. Such is the case at The Player's Theater on MacDougal Street. It is there that television actor John Driscoll has taken over two key roles in Matt Morillo's comedy Angry Young Women in Low-Rise Jeans with High-Class Issues.
