The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) has announced the nominees for the 15th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards. The winners will be announced at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards live on Friday, January 15, 2009 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. This year's event will take place at the Hollywood Palladium and will be hosted by Kristin Chenoweth. For the third year in a row VH1 will broadcast the gala live on the network.

Halle Berry, Colin Farrell and Matthew Fox will join the previously announced Julia Robert, Jennifer Aniston and Mickey Rourke as presenters at 'The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards' on Sunday, January 17. The show, hosted by Ricky Gervais, will be broadcast live coast to coast on NBC (5 to 8 pm PT, 8 to 11 pm ET) from The Beverly Hilton.

Jason Reitman's 'Up in the Air' and Spike Jonze' 'Where the Wild Things Are' each scored six nominations including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Julianne Moore to Be Honored with Santa Barbara Film Festival Montecito Award, 2/11

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival will honor four-time Academy Award nominee Julianne Moore at the 25th edition of the Festival with the Montecito Award, which runs February 4 -14, 2010, it was announced today by SBIFF Executive Director Roger Durling. The Tribute will take place Thursday, February 11, at the historic Arlington Theatre.
