The Attic Theater Company presents Preston Sturges' classic screwball comedy STRICTLY DISHONORABLE at The Flea Theater (41 White Street, Tribeca). Directed by Laura Braza, STRICTLY DISHONORABLE will be performed Tuesday, July 22nd through Sunday, August 10th, 2014. The Press Opening is Saturday, July 26th at 7pm. Following previous seasons sold-out holiday hits, The Snow Queen and Hansel and Gretel, the A.R.T. Institute, in association with the Loeb Drama Center, brings another children's story to life - The Light Princess, by Lila Rose Kaplan with music by Mike Pettry, directed by Allegra Libonati, with choreography by Jeff and Rick Kuperman. No Exit plays Thursday through Saturday, September 19-21, 2013, at 8pm, as well as Saturday and Sunday, September 21 and 22, 2013, at 2pm. Guerilla Opera announces two new operas in their seventh season: an original production of Andy Vores's No Exit from September 19-22, 2013, adapted from the play by Jean-Paul Sartre, with stage direction by Nathan Troup; and the world premiere of Gallo in May 2014, with music and libretto by Ken Ueno and stage direction by Sarah Meyers. It will be directed by Ed Sylvanus Iskandar, a 2012 Drama Desk Award nominee for These Seven Sicknesses, and stars The Bats, the resident Acting Company at The Flea.
